96 Crayola Crayons

“coloring on the floor” crayon sketch

My daughter just got a box of, not 64, but 96 Crayola Crayons! I think there is even a box with 120, believe it or not. There is not much that beats the nostalgia of Crayola crayons. My husband and I were reminiscing about how great it was getting that GIANT box of 64 crayons with the sharpener built in! Just the waxy papery smell can take you back to the exact spot you sat to draw and color and dream. Check out this Mr. Rogers video How People Make Crayons. This will really take you back.

Crayola’s product line has expanded quite a bit since those days with a large variety of crayons, markers, pencils, and paints.  Many choices with innovative features and effects. They also offer many products and kits for artistic play. My daughter loves the Crayola website too. It really is a wonderful website with lots of fun activities. Some highlights are searchable coloring pages to print, holiday craft idea videos, and a card creator. There are also some special features only accessible with product codes. My daughter’s box of 96 crayons came with an access code to use Story Studio which allows your child to upload their photo and turn it into a story to print and color!
