A few of my favorite things

Apparently my daughter loves it too!

  1. Do-nothing sick days (except the sick part)
  2. Blow-dried hair and shaved legs (happens less often)
  3. Wearing new socks
  4. A smooth sailing, productive day
  5. My kitchen floor immediately after mopping
  6. A basket of folded laundry ready to be put away
  7. Clean, uncluttered surfaces
  8. Seeing my kids again after school
  9. Family dinners at my Mother’s house
  10. Getting lost in a good book
  11. Discovering or learning something new
  12. Nature walks
  13. Family time
  14. Sleeping children
  15. Getting into bed with fresh clean sheets after a long day

  1. Sometimes I want to lie down on my office floor just like that on a particularly rough day. We share many fav things, a good book, learning something new, clean sheets, clean uncluttered…Yes, yes, yes.

    • I had those moments at work too – since I work from home now I just crash on my bed for a moment if I need to! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Ann, #2 cracked me up. I just did myself up last night for my daughter’s high school Christmas play and I was telling my family “I feel so great! I actually shaved my legs!” LOL. Some things seem more like a chore these days…
I really loved this post, it made me smile. =)

  3. LOVE YOUR WHOLE LIST, JUST NEED TO SUBSTITUTE DINNER AT MY DAUGHTER’S HOUSE. SHE’S A GREAT COOK AND I LOVE SEEING HER AND HER FAMILY IN THEIR HAPPY HOME.
