Snow is STILL magical

1. It summons the angels who bask in it…

2. Has the ability to turn off color…

3. with some exceptions…

4. It sends us encoded messages…

5. Produces unusual byproducts…

6. Knows we need and provides us with exercise…

7. Instinctively aware of its powers, children imbibe liberally…

8. Its powers do however diminish over time…

9. As a kind of finale, the clouds open up…

10. Giving the birds some sort of final instruction or message…

*What do you think the message was?

  1. If I could take the “children imbibing” photo and put it in a vial, I would drink it at just the moment I needed it to grow tall or small like Alice in Wonderland. I’m quite sure it would possess those power.

    • Thanks Tiffanie – they were easy too! I have to do more easy ones!

They are cute, aren’t they (even more so when not drunk on snow) ; )

  2. We spent the day sledding … it was our first good snow of the year and our first time out with the sleds. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous snow shots! Love them! I like how you notice the little things all around you! So beautiful.

  3. GREAT PHOTOS BUT AGAIN WHAT I LOVE MOST IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, LIKE “SUMMONS ANGELS TO BASK IN IT” & CHILDREN INSTINCTIVELY IMBIBE ITS POWERS ( I PARAPHRASE).
#3 WOULD MAKE A GREAT CHRISTMAS CARD.
I LOVE #4 AND THE PATTERN IN #6. ANOTHER GREAT THING I LOVE ABOUT BEING OUT & BEING ACTIVE IN THE SNOW IS BREATHING THE REALLY FRESH, CLEAN AIR.
#10: I’M NOT SURE OF THE MESSAGE, BUT I LOVE THE PHOTO THAT SEEMS TO JUXTAPOSE THE NARROW DARK, STRAIGHT POWER LINE WITH ALL THAT IS ABOVE IT, THE BRIGHT, EXPANSIVE SKY & THE FLUTTERY FLIGHT OF THE BIRD. I SEE IT AS AN INTERESTING CONTRAST BETWEEN TIGHT AND CONTAINED, AND RANDOM AND FREE. GREAT PHOTO. ONE DAY YOU SHOULD PUBLISH A BOOK OF YOUR PHOTOS AND “POETRY”.
