We ALL got new cameras. The kids were happy with their hand-me-down upgrades! So we thought it would be fun to go for a walk yesterday after school and take some pictures.
It ended up being a short excursion for various reasons but it was interesting to see what caught our individual eyes. My daughter was inspired by the bushes in the neighborhood and I guess not surprisingly my son, cars. Me, I was fascinated by these trees…
* * *
My notes and observations…
- No leaves presently; wondering if deciduous…
- They seem to be everywhere! wondering if invasive…
- They interconnect with one another through an intricate network of vines.
- Variety of unusual features not consistently present on all specimens
- Some appear to have bio-luminescence (must check back at night)!

I just love that you all went on a photography adventure together.
this was my 4 year old’s first – very cute!
What fun that you all can take pictures together. What a fun family activity!
Was fun – can’t wait until it gets a little warmer for activities like this!
Very funny, lady! Nice shot of the “tree”, and GO SOX!
I remember when we first let Stella start using our camera. She absolutely loved it, and as always, thank goodness for digital photography or she’d never get a fraction of the time with the camera that she did!
This generation is going to be amazing photographers!
Thanks and can’t believe baseball is starting again already!
COOL, IMAGINATIVE POST. UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE. LOVE IT.
