This poor Blue jay looks so soggy wet after 2 whole days of rain.

It was a little hard getting up to a rainy Monday, first day back to school after a vacation week. We really needed the rain though. It had been 3 weeks and the grass was getting crunchy! Rain is good, remember?!
How do you face a rainy Monday morning?

I enjoy rain, but then again it’s a rare treat here in Perth. That Blue Jay does look rather damp…
I don’t really mind it easy – makes everything so green!
Rainy days can be a lot of fun… I’ll admit, I get sick of them every now and then, but for the most part, they’re pretty calm and they help me appreciate the sunny days all the more.

Same for me – thanks Larissa : )
We don’t have nearly as much rain as other parts of the country; but when it does rain, it comes down hard. I usually have to pull my potted plants onto the patio (say that five times fast!), to prevent their unintentional drowning. Other than that, we welcome rainstorms as they’re utterly refreshing and few and far between!

I bet! It must be refreshing! I think I would like desert weather.
I am enjoying the rain too but only from the perspective that it makes the mulch stink less and the plants and trees are thriving from the rain.
Love your blue jay shot. Haven’t seen any in Newton yet!

It did make everything nice and green! I wonder if you have hear the Blue jays yet.
I face it with a great big black coffee.
