A good place to start… Come on in!

Today I am sharing a bunch of my favorite posts strung together with info about me and Doodles and Jots’ trajectory.  I think my tag line says it best: Ideas for, diversions from, and celebrations of family life from a creative mom.  You can also get to know more about me by checking out my About page, My ABC’s post, and Pregnancy Test Trees and a Pickle Baby (about me becoming a mom). I started this site in October 2011 with the encouragement of my sister who is a long time, successful blogger at Life Learning Today. Her blog is full of great advice on healthy, happy, purposeful living. Definitely check it out!

  1. This is great! I love your landing page; it’s full of great info. about your blog (and you!). Let me know if you don’t figure out how to make it the landing page for your site, because I know I have that info. somewhere and I’ll look it up.

    • Thanks! Did you notice my new mini banner?

Right now I have it as a sticky post and I can display it like this, or as a hyperlink about the first post. I guess a landing page is different… Wonder what is better. This way was easy so I will live with it for a while.

I might want that info though – thanks!

  2. Ann, this is wonderful! And I think “Doodles and Jots” explains it very well. As a writer, I’m always jotting down notes. It’s not always about the final product. Say, this would be a perfect post to link up to “What’s the Word? Wednesdays” if you’re interested. I love it. It tells so much about you and your blog, and has great links in it. Very well done!
