I love when the rain washes away the pollen but lately it seems to keep coming!
This time of the year I would love to open all my windows. Yesterday especially was such a beautiful day but I don’t because the pollen here is crazy! It must be all the pine trees which rely on wind for pollination. You can see it on everything. My Pink Lady Slippers, the cars, heck, you can see it in the air. Thankfully none of us are allergic. I just don’t want the insides of my house covered with yellow dust like the outsides are! Here is an interesting fact: pollen is active for about 2 hours but can cause allergies indefinitely.

Ick … we have an inkling suspicion Victor is allergic. .. It’s so pretty, but such a bother. *sigh*

Poor Victor!
We walked around Lake Waban in Wellesley today and saw pollen swirls like these there, too. We do have some seasonal allergies here and this time of year is really tough!

The pollen clouds are crazy! Time to run inside especially if you have allergies!
Allergies suck. It’s a horrible, horrible thing to hate going outdoors because you know you’ll be sneezing and wheezing. Stupid nature.

My kitchen table was covered in a fine film the other day.
