Let’s see, what can we make with the crack on our front porch…
A guy,
a sailor,
who spills his milk because,
it’s getting stormy!
And his boat is being tossed about.
He is worried.
Will he make it to port safely?
He does! And is now safe at home in Unicornville!

This story is inspired by the book Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg. Click on the image below to see sample pages from Amazon; a very fun book recommended to us by Mama Smiles!
And by Larissa, who sees Object Silliness everywhere!

Do you have a crack in the cement on your porch or sidewalk too? How about getting out some sidewalk chalk and seeing how it inspires you!

Thanks, Krista!!! Good book. Love books that inspire. My daughter has made some dog-ear penguins!
This is remarkable, Ann. I could see a whole book filled with these. I love how you used the crack both horizontally and vertically. It works so well with the sea theme. Great idea!
I laughed out loud when I saw you were inspired partially by Larissa, because when I first laid eyes on the top photo I thought immediately to myself “Larissa’s going to love this one!”.
