Some animals are specialists and eat very specific, low competition foods. Other animals eat a wide variety of foods. What kind are you?
To read more about what animals eat check out Robin Page and Steve Jenkin’s Time to Eat; one of Steve Jenkin’s many beautiful picture books about animals!
The real zoological facts are as thrilling as monster stories….The beautiful cut- and torn-paper collage illustrations are as expertly colored, detailed, and expressive as in the creators’ previous titles, and the layout, featuring plenty of white space, nicely spotlights each animal in action….Another stand-out science title from the husband-and-wife team. Booklist

Amusing post, Ann! Your designs are simple and effective….

That book sounds like a nice read. I’m a sucker for unique illustrations. Will look it up…

Me too!
I love your jellyfish. I think I am more of a wide-variety eater because I get really bored with food easily.

Thanks, what a nice thing to say!
I love your posts. They’re always so colorful, so artistic. You are amazing. And to answer your question, I’m probably a forager, but low-conflict. I’d rather eat meat, but not if I have to do the butchering work myself.
