Dove Nutritive Therapy Conditioner Review

I usually have short to medium length hair but lately I have been trying it a bit longer.  It seem easier because after I wash it I can put it in a ponytail and just go!  I can also shape it with my fingers a little and it dries nicely.  When it is shorter, I really need to style it more and as a busy working mom, I definitely don’t have time for that these days!  But I have noticed my hair is a lot drier after washing especially near the ends.

This is why I was excited about this Blogher opportunity to try and review a new conditioner from Dove!

I actually have never used Dove products before but I must say, I really admire their focus on real women.  Click here to meet Dove’s real role models.

So like I said, I was pretty excited to try a new conditioner and it happens to be good timing for me since I am growing out my hair a bit.  I recieve a bottle of Dove Nutritive Therapy: Nourishing Oil Care which is part of Dove’s new line of Advanced Conditioners, in the mail a couple week ago.  It says it “revives dry, rough & frizzy hair” with “weightless nuti-oils”.  I usually use light conditioners and this one is thick and creamer so I made an effort to avoid applying it to my scalp and focused more on my dry ends.  It has a very nice fruity, nutty scent which I found calming.  I’ve used it several time now and I have noticed my hair is smoother and softer especially at the ends.  And this is the cool part.  The part I worried about.  My hair doesn’t seem flatter or weighed down!  Something I feared with a richer conditioner combined with my fine hair.

I definitely recommend this conditioner if you have damage ends and/or dry hair and are looking for softer smoother results!
