Is this web radiant or what?!
And the spider, a humble artist!

One of my all time favorite memories from school was when my fifth grade teacher read Charlotte’s Web to us. She read a chapter each day after lunch and it came to life for me! I looked forward to it everyday.
Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White is a wonderful story about a farm girl who develops an attachment to a pig she cares for and together with a rat and a spider develop a plan to secure his future. This book will pull at your heart strings. This book also has terrific illustrations by Garth Williams throughout! Click on image to go to Amazon for description.
Here’s a little trivia… What words does Charlotte spell in her web?

Thanks! How cool is that?! I got a ton of hits yesterday from Stumble. It is fun when that happens : )
Love the pictures! That web is amazing and very intricate. I give you kudos for the spider picture as I am phobic of bugs and don’t think I could get close enough to take a picture of him.

I am an anti-spider girl, yet the first photo of the web is beautiful (had to scroll fast past the other photo).
My son read Charlotte’s Web over the summer (we had read it to him last year and he loved it). It’s a family favorite!!!
They don’t exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling either! I should read it with my kids this year.
