Printable White Mountain Postcards
This is my last post about our New Hampshire trip for a while. Even though it was raining the views and fall colors were breathtaking! The White Mountains of New Hampshire is my favorite place to visit. There are so many things to do.
On this trip we went to Storyland and the Polar Caves. The rain really sapped us of our ambition to do much more but we did also enjoy going to Zeb’s General Store and the kids enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool. We also took a drive down the Kancamagus Highway and made a few scenic stops.
Some of the other things we have enjoyed on past trips to the White Mountains include camping, hiking, exploring the rivers, waterfalls, and natural slides, climbing Mount Washington by car and Cog Railroad, visiting the model train museum, Flume Gorge, and the outlet shops in North Conway.

I like that Kancamagus highway but we’ve only driven it in the late spring. Sounds like a wonderful trip!

Loved it!!! I want to make it a yearly thing : )
Oh that is just beautiful! My mother would love love love that view.. She loves mountains in the Autumn. Ours here aren’t changing colors quite as fast and I’m afraid when they decide to change colors they will already have been stripped of their foliage. So thank you for sharing your photos with us.

I love to travel anyplace I’ve never been, but admit I have a fondness for returning to New Orleans as often as I can.
One day, I’m going to take that fall pilgrimage in New England I’ve dreamed of. What a lovely reminder you’ve provided me!

Beautiful, Ann. Love the print-outs too. My favorite place is The Mission Inn, Riverside, CA. We don’t get the autumn colors out here that they do back east.

You know how I feel about NH and the Glen area….LOVE! Funny postcards!
It’s so great we BOTH went to Storyland this year. We absolutely adore Storyland. I hadn’t been there in about 32 years, so it was so special to bring our kids there. They loved every minute of it, and I can’t wait to go back. We probably will stay a few days in that area next time, so much to do. And need to check out Polar Caves, it looks so fun.
