Light Bulb Leaves

What a nice fall day it was today!

The sun and wind played nicely with the fall colors.

They danced with shadows and light.

And turned leaves on like light bulbs!

There are no perfect leaves in my yard.

But the reds are stunning!

And the cautious maple is still mostly green.

  1. Congratulations on your blog anniversary! I am loving these photos. It is amazing how close you could get and still have such sharp detailed pics. Love autumn leaves! This weekend the hurricane is on its way, so i bet a lot of the leaves will be down sooner than later..

  2. Love, love, love the leaves in your photos. I remember a project in elementary school where we were studying leaves and I made a wax-paper binder of my collection of leaves from the neighborhood. It made me start to really appreciate the different types of leaves and their appearances.
