You can always count on the tides.  They come in and go out and come in again.  I suppose, too, the tides can catch you off guard like they have for the dolphins, with tragic consequences, here on Cape Cod.  The tide rises and falls so fast on some beaches because the grade is so slight.

I set this video to sad music: She Sells Seashells from Music Together: Family Favorites.  Music Together is a fun and educational music class for families with little ones.  We learned that this song in played in a minor chord and that is what makes it feel sad.

What happened at the Boston Marathon on Monday caught me off guard.  I am so sorry to all the families that it affected directly.  It made me want to stay close to home this vacation week.
