Curb Appeal

I Spy: Rhododendrons

I just saw a house with the best curb appeal in the world!  Don’t you agree?!

I used to live in Waltham, MA and our house was built into a hill.  The steep driveway was impossible in the winter with the ice and snow but we also had a great winter view of the Boston skyline!  The entire foundation which above ground in the front of our house was so wonderfully hidden by enormous rhododendron bushes like theses and for a couple weeks a year our house was so beautiful!

    • Thanks! Much more beautiful in real life. I just passed it again and now realize I didn’t add nearly enough blossoms.

  1. I got the standard purplish pink ones. They are so fab. But my favs are the lilacs which alas don’t last very long. I also really like these green bushes around here that have the most stunning red flowers on them for about 2 weeks. Do you know what those are? I’d love to get some.
I also love those blue flowers that will be coming later in June. Can’t remember the name right now. I’ve got a pretty Rhody on my instagram: in case anyone is jonesin to see one. :-)

    • Thanks for the link. Not sure what those other flowers are. You have some nice landscaping in your neighborhood too!
