I Spy: Dress

road looks like dress

I had a work meeting last night with a long drive there and back and I saw something I used to see when I was a kids.  When we would take long boring family drives I would stare at the road and see a dress or housecoat like my grandmother used to wear.  My eyes would travel up those dashes or buttons and never get to my grandmother’s face but the repetition would put me in a trance.

I got bored a lot in cars because doing almost anything made me feel sick.  Books on tape helped us Survive the Drive to Florida recently but honestly I don’t see anything wrong with a little boredom here and there.  I am not bored nearly often enough these days!

    • I hope they work for her. They didn’t for me but then again I got them for my extreme morning sickness which was a force beyond what something natural to address.

  1. Ann, You are so correct about boredome. We, as well as our children, are overcome by events!!! I have had to force myself to simply sit and drink my morning java without picking up the iphone every time it dings! Or taking a a peek at Pinterest! Boredom can be productive!! Thanks for your lovely posts. I am a new follower and look forward to more!

    • Yay! Thanks for following! And oh man I am crazy with all my gadgets these days, so distracting!

    • You know, really it wasn’t that bad! I love how we saved enough money then for Disney! Reminds me, I still have to write about that!
