Queen Anne's Lace

In honor of the royal baby, here’s some Queen Anne’s Lace.

white wild flowers

I love how its shape changes from convex to concave.  It really does look like lace.  Notice all the bugs?!

for the royal baby

I am more fascinated by wild flowers than the royals but I did take pictures of William and Kate’s wedding, on my TV.  I got pictures of the hats and the horses!  Let me know if you are interested in seeing them.

    • Cool! Did she pick something really far out?
I will share. It will take a little while to sort through. I took far to many!

    • I don’t think they have shared the name yet.
I took so many pictures. It was such a silly day!
I bet they are beautiful in a bouquet.
I wonder if there is anything they do to keep bugs away from bouquets.

    • I just read that they are wild carrots. If you dig up a first year plant, before it grows its flowers, it had an edible root but you have to make sure it smells like a carrot before eating because there is a similar looking plant that is poisonous.

    • How poisonous? I’d be curious to try it. More research needed. :-)
BTW it’s Prince George Alexander. Louis.

I wanted to give my son 3 names. Maybe I’ll add another. Lol

    • Deadly! I would love to eat wild foods but I am too afraid.
Thanks for the name update. Three’s nice : )
