I Spy a Star

I Spy a Star

Leaves are starting to change! Here and there I am noticing the tops of trees or outer branches fading to red or orange or yellow.

Just in the last day or two I started to notice a few impatient trees that turn all at once. What is most interesting though is the way they then stand out. Yesterday there was a just a green forest backdrop and today there is an intensely yellow tree against that backdrop. Suddenly there’s a star in the forest!  A star that will soon fade but will, I’m sure, back next year for an encore performance!

  1. I just love the fall. Achoo!

I love everything you have described. I love the weather, the changing of the trees, the colors, the beauty. I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I’m going to say it anyway. I don’t know how you can look outside everyday (especially in New England) and not know there is a Father in Heaven who loves us. We get beautiful gift each and everyday – whether we deserve them or not. Bad or good, sick or well, love or hate – they are always there.

Thanks so much for this post.
