Summer Reading Coloring Page

coloring page - summer reading

Welcome to the first installment of my new coloring page series! Get your kids excited about summer reading with this printable. There is really nothing better than finding a shady tree to read under when you have nothing else to do and nowhere to be. My daughter loves finding coloring pages online and has been asking for Doodles and Jots coloring pages forever (so this one is for you Annabelle)!

My kids’ school is doing something great this year. As long as your child is returning to the same school in the fall they can check out ten books for over the summer. Isn’t that neat?! I wonder if they will give the kids extra time to pick. What is your plan or non-plan for summer reading? Please share!

And here is a summer reading book list for a variety of ages/levels.

  1. Terrific colouring page!!! We are going into winter/newborn time here and I have an embarrassingly large parcel of books headed my way… mostly for me!

    • Elisa, I just learned you are expecting and am so happy for you and your family. I hope that parcel has some books you will enjoy! Best, best wishes for number five!!!!!
