There are tiny star shaped flowers hidden in our grass. You would miss them if you were in a hurry.
They reminded me of HOW TO CATCH A STAR by Oliver Jeffers, one of my kids favorite author/illustrators. The boy in this story wants to catch a star but he can never seem to get close enough to reach one. I love this story because I think we can all relate to wanting the impossible and how sometimes serendipity can find us when we keep an open mind.
Another way to get a star is make one! Here is a really simple video tutorial on how to make a perfect 3D paper star!
